How many pictures do I need?
You can start with 25 photos if you like. That is roughly the length of a song… 3 minutes.
50 photos gives you six minutes. 75 photos gives you 8 minutes.
Custom tributes of any length are available.
What about music?
We suggest that every memorial tribute be associated with meaningful music, music which links to the
subject of the tribute. If you can’t find the music but you know the title or the musician, then
we’ll access it online through iTunes (where we will purchase it for you on your behalf).
We design the movement of photos to match the emotionss of the music.
Every kind of music is suitable. After all, this is a tribute!
What if I don’t have a music preference?
That’s no problem at all. We have a selection of Royalty Free music that we can include
to fit the your memorial tribute.
How long does it take to produce a tribute?
It depends.
If it’s a tribute for a funeral or celebration of life, we offer as little as 24 hour turnaround. If
it’s a memorial or a retirement or an anniversary, the longer we have, the happier you’ll be. But,
24 hours is always a possibility.
Our standard service is 2-4 weeks. We offer 1 week rush and 24-hour emergency service.
Can I order copies?
You sure can. Depending on the package you select, copies do come with the DVD, but we can produce
extras, professionally labelled for you. For instance, we incorporate the wedding invitation into
the DVD label, or the funeral tribute or obituary into a life memorial DVD. We’re very sensitive
about what message you want to provide.
Extra DVD’s are priced at $20 each.
What technology do I need?
Our packages are produced on industry-standard DVDs. You can watch them on anything that can play
a DVD from the video store.
- A standard DVD player connected to a TV
- A computer with a DVD player
- A computer with a DVD player connected to a projector
A tribute DVD can play just about anywhere. Macs and PCs.
Can you make the tribute into a VHS tape?
Yes we can.
Will it work okay?
We test it at our office, at your site and we will attend and do the technical presentation,
arranging projector etc, for a fee.
What if I’m a funeral home?
The DVD is then white-labelled or labelled with the logo etc of the Funeral Home. It’s great
advertising for the home, and a great added value for the family.
